I know you've been wanting to fully explain the origins of Bitey for a long time, but it almost seemed like you rushed into this. Something about having a narrator just felt like lazy story telling. Maybe not so much in explaining his origins, but explaining how he feels about his situation, emotions and all that. You always managed to convey how all the characters are feeling so, so well through actions alone, and I dunno. Bitey looking at other animals being with their kin, I think him wanting for more of his kind was conveyed well enough without someone explaining it for us.
I felt like you'd been too influenced by the people who complain that there's no story, and instead have relied on less original methods of telling a story as a result. I feel it's negatively affected this short. I also don't see why you waited to gave yourself such a short deadline for the cartoon where you actually start to go deeper into the story. It's impressive as hell that you actually made something of this calibur, but it does show in parts. I realise I might be making myself look stupid, because I genuinely have no clue how long it took for you to make Waterlollies or Littlefoot, but I assume they take months (I remember there being a massive wait for Water Lollies).
Even the graphics at parts were distractingly "flash" looking sometimes, e.g putting really obvious inner shadows, colouring entire creatures with gradients, young Bitey's head's colouring etc. It didn't look as good as Waterlollies or The Yu Yu in terms of colouring, but the animation was still just as incredible.
Lot totally in love with Lemonee Wee's design. Not so much the design itself, cos it's pretty damn cool, but it seems so drastically new that I feel you should just make it a different character, e.g, she definitely no longer suits the name "Lemonee Wee" in my opinion. She seems too serious for such a comedic name, unless this is intended.
Things I loved: the shot of the planet from space, the gorgeous globe tree setting and a lot of the scenery in general, the fact that we've seen that Brackenwood can experience other seasons, those gorgeously animated scenes of Bitey running across landscapes. Young Bitey is also pretty adorable, and I felt sad when it showed the new little foot. Nicely explained Bitey's possible contempt for Big Foots (Big Feet?).
It's also made me extremely excited for the feature film, because it DID make it feel like there's a lot more that we haven't really thought about yet. The feeling of depth this short gave with the combined elements of subtle story telling with your previous shorts would be the best thing ever.
All in all, still better than almost everything else here, which is why it gets a 9, but I think it's a step down from previous efforts. But a step down from "almost absolutely perfect" isn't anything to be annoyed about.

If you're going to make little challenges like this, at least put them all in one swf so that it isn't practically on the verge of being a spam submission.

"Probably the single funniest thing I've seen"
on this website, that is. The "cries like a little bitch" on the newspaper, the whole set up for the thing (I was thinking myself how he managed to keep up with this bus at the start), and basically everything. Perfection.
And then the bus blows up at the end and I had to favourite it. I just couldn't not after that.

There were a couple of times where I smirked, but not nearly enough times as I sighed. The short (or uh, brief) where Knuckles tried to swat the fly and broke the master emerald, please, who DIDN'T see that coming? It was bad enough that it seemed to last forever. We get it, you're parodying 2001: a space odyssey, as if we haven't seen that happen a million times.
The best short by far was the one with the tv screens Knuckles uses to find the emerald pieces. The title is also pretty funny. That's about all the positives I can chalk up.

Some of it was directed really well. The scene where link's arm is cut off and he's looking up at that guy, and everything's inverted and it has that high pitch noise, that really set the scene well. Probably my favourite moment in the series, it was just so "oh crap", but in a better way. But using farore's wind to teleport, while clever, was still not executed in the best way.
A common complaint I have solely about your action sequences is that they're too fast, so you can't tell what's going on very well or absorb it. And once again, only made worse by farore's wind, this was everything happening at lightning speed, and then slowing down for when people get hit. It's a rut you've gotten yourself in, and it's a fine directing technique IF you vary it up a little.
Though I digress that this was still a good episode. I liked the dialogue (but the quality of recording was often awful, sorry. I'm not gonna mark you down for that because it wasn't specifically you that recorded everything) and I also liked that record player gag quite a lot for some reason, I think I just love little references to the games like that, and I'm intrigued how and why Midna is back (but I hope she isn't TOO involved).
Final criticism is that sometimes the scenes where things rotate look far too tweeny, in particular the scene at the end when the guy who cut off link's arm looks out the window.
Also gotta ask, will we ever see any references to Majora's Mask in the series? Just that it's my favourite game, and was just wondering.

Haha, it almost reminded me of Sonic meets David Firth. I laughed out loud when he took a nap, for some reason or another (props also goes to the great title).

First of all, I'd like to say that the lack of sound effects doesn't hurt the movie at all, as it's more of a music video action sequence, like Waterlollies or the Sonic CD opening. I'd also like to give you kudos for making a sonic cartoon that isn't full of Dragon Ball Z references, and is mainly based on speed combat.
However, there are many problems with this, mainly in the fact that it seems like you didn't really know what to do with the fight. It was mainly just the both of them running, occasionally running into eachother etc. Like, how the fight started off not with Metal trying to fight Sonic, but confronting him and then running away as if to say "come on, chase me". That's not how a real fight scene would happen, and it pretty much stayed this way through out. It was not directed very well, with the mirrored actions (both of them running up hills and then both running into eachother to make a predicatable climax). Things like Sonic pushing metal away when he did that move where he turns orange and dashes at you wasn't very in character, as sonic doesn't usually rely on the strength of his arms, especially against an attack like that.
And the animation was rather bland. The running was pretty good, but things like the spin dash looked terrible and, I don't know how to describe it. I guess 2d and filtered.
I know I am being pretty harsh, but it's just that you got the concept and style pretty dead on, it was just the execution that falls flat on it's face. Comparing it to something like Nazo Unleashed, this has the upper hand on concept but not animation or direction or excitement in general.
Keep doing what you're doing, but really try to out do yourself in the next one, really plan every shot etc.

It's really hard to get Conrad to stay in his cage, but once you get it it's great. Awesome game!

Though the graphics etc weren't that great, and some of the jokes were a bit lame (biting the garlic was a bit predictable). I'm giving it a 9/10 simply for the mirror part and the end when he walks outside, they were pretty genius.
