[Really Short Cartoon ep.1]

This was nice!

I think the funniest part for me was the applause at the end. IT MADE ME SMILE. Make more of these, but maybe make them short cartoons instead of really short cartoons.

A good first episode

There are some problems though, the biggest being the excessive camera movement; it made me feel slightly dizzy. I also think that there should have been some dialogue in scenes other than the car scene. Maybe some kind of "where am I thing" on the alien ship or something. I, don't know, she just went a bit quiet.

You've managed to grab my interest, so I'll be looking out for future installments.

Hilarious

This was great, the ending in particular made me laugh. I just wish it could have gone on longer.

It was alright.

I mean, I thought the plot was a bit corny and lame, especially the beginning with the parents ( I just kinda rolled my eyes at it, sorry) but the animation was great, as was the music. It's not as thought provoking as it's trying to be though.

A solid cartoon.

Amazing

Wow. After all the hype, all the anticipation, I NEVER thought it would be this epic. Everything was beautiful, every scene, every frame was perfect. I admit to pausing the movie a few times just to stare and zoom in to some of the scenery. You have officially raised the bar again, you've created the most beautiful flash cartoon of all time. I truly felt now more then ever I fully felt the full speed and agility of Bitey, even more so than the Yuyu. The entire opening scene had me gob smacked, it was truly an amazing introduction, and anyone who had never watched a brackenwood cartoon would know exactly what Bitey is about.

Everyone was characterised awesomely. The Auld sage warning Bitey about the waterlolly by simply throwing it in front of him was awesomely clever and in character. Bitey impersonating the purple bigfoot and the Auld sage was hilarious, as was the bigfoot pissing on his own hands and Bitey being an asshole pushing the purple thing out of the tree. Bitey screaming at the spiders was also hilarious, I expected him to scream, but that was certainly a tad more "AHHH" then I thought it would have (did you do that scream by the way?)

The whole thing had an amazingly professional feel to it, which is thanks to the music I think. I literally had forgotten I was watching a flash cartoon at one part, how perfect the music went with it was amazing. This is definitely the most cinematic Brackenwood experience yet. You created beautiful scenes, not as in backgrounds (even though you obviously still did) but as in the angles and length of them were perfect.

As with every piece of art, there are always criticisms.

I'm not sure if this is just me, but I really dislike the purple colour used to outline Bitey's fur. Before it was just the purple outline for his skin, and a black outline for his fur. I preferred it this way as I simply thought it looked better.

My main problem with this, was the ending. Never before has Brackenwood had a problem of the ending being too sudden and unexpected, and that really did disappoint. I thought the whole idea for Waterlollies hilarious, but it yet again ended with Bitey receiving his eventual predictable comeuppance, again at the hands of a bigfoot (which seems to affect all the brackenwood movies with Bitey besides the Yuyu). This one seemed way too sudden, maybe it was the fact that it seemed so profesional, but I really did not expect it to end when it did and was just getting into it. I thought the conclusion would be more interesting then "Bitey belches out waterlollies".

Final thoughts: If this really is your last brackenwood flash before moving onto toonboom, then what a way to go. Each time you've released a cartoon it had raised the bar of your last cartoon, but never like this. You deserve a gold star, sir.

Plain awesome

Really good this was, refreshing somewhat. Non lazy frame by frame fighting animation is my kinda thing. Brilliant smoke effects too. Only thing I wasn't very fond of was the character design (well, mainly the circle heads). It just looked slightly cheap, but didn't hurt the cartoon. The other weakness I thought this cartoon had was awkward tweening of the background, it looked incorrect and un natural at parts.

Good job overall.
